"I'm Stu, as my blog name would indicate I describe myself as an ambitious pessimist, I have great plans and ambition for my life and so far I've found excuses not to pursue them. This is one trait I intend to change, although I then risk making this blog obsolete.......

I enjoy all things artistic and creative, I like to give it a go myself every now and then. You can see my attempt at pursuing my hobby as an amateur photographer here. 

I have a personal and professional interest in social media and new media. I would like to involve this in my career plans. I know I would like to work in the "creative communications" industry but I am yet to refine this down.

Over the next couple of months I intend to do this and take the next steps towards making this happen."
